• All buildings, except hospitals, need to be tested every Four(4) years.
• Hospitals need to be tested every Six(6) years.

Smoke control confidence tests are required to be performed annually per RCW19-27-720.

Per RCW 19.27.720, " ...the building owner shall, within 120 days of inspection, take necessary steps to ensure the defective equipment is replaced or repaired and reinspected to ensure that the deficiency is corrected and is in compliance with the requirements of all applicable standards pursuant to chapter 88, Laws of 2020..."
